The Process

How to prepare your child

We get it! Some kids get very nervous about the unknown. And you, as a parent, may be too. But rest assured, you and your child are in good hands, and our evaluations are much more fun and laid-back than you expect.

Talk to your child about where they will be going, and what will happen. Most of their nerves come from not knowing what to expect. Honesty is key!

Use upbeat words to put your child at ease, and be positive about the whole experience. Because, it is!

You may be asked to join all or some of the evaluation process with your child. If not in the room together, you will be in the waiting area and asked to join at the end. Let them know that you can’t wait to hear all about what they did while away!

After the Evaluation

Upon completion of testing, clinical decisions are made and a diagnosis is formulated. A comprehensive report is written along with an individualized plan of care outlining the course of treatment.

Services are promised to be dynamic, fun, and engaging!
